Very good fish with potatos today! Nice sunday of sun spent walking in the green .
Mission is going very well. in 18 days I've lost almost 10 kg. Is it maybe too fast but so far I feel pretty good! And with fish and chicken back in my diet I think it will only get better!

12th Day: Back to basket

Today I was back at playing some basket ! Finally after all the injuries I could do a bit of my favourit sport. Not yet at my best, but I could see some of the benefit of being 8 kg lighter. On the other hand I could also notice how energy was only limited and after 1:20 I had to stop,sweaty and happy.

11th Day: Climbing trees

Very fun outdoor activity today !

We've done some tree climbing and spent 4 hrs going up and down different suspended paths.

Today a very nice run of 40 min in the forest!
Running is improving, I feel I can push the limit and go faster and faster with more indurance.

Wanted to buy some more of the diet stuff but the shop was closed. Will go back on monday!

Funny day today! A sunny friday is always putting some more good mood.
In the evening I've tried some social activity and went for a fairwell party of a colleague. No drinks and no food wit everyone else eating and drinking sounded more difficoult than it really was..Just hold a bottle of beer and behave normal and people will not ask questions.. make sure the bottle is dark :-) after 4 hrs of holding a full bottle people might start asking questions!

Anyway..I'm not on a diet,I'm on a mission!!

7:20 Swiming for 25 min.

Vary good ay. Full of energy, started with a swim ! Happy to reintroduce tomatoes and oil in the salad. It's quite easy now !

Well done !

The 1st week is over, I'm really happy because I can now use oil on the salad and add some more variety with the vegetables.

A bit surprised that the weight is not moving for last 2 days, but could be just a temporary adaptation. Today will do some sport and will probably see the drop into 113s by tomorrow morning.

Wow..big jump this morning! At 114 I think I'm at the lowest in quite a while..I'm using the last hole in the belt,if this goes on like this I will need a new belt..and soon new pants and everything!

This is getting exciting !

I'm more and more used to the food, the omlette today at work was very discrete and actually quite enjoyable. Still had to turn down a going out for drinks after work as didn't seem appropriate quite yet.

The diet was quite ok. The discovery of the day was the fundamental negative opinion on it of my wife. I knew something was going on, but didn't expect to be left so much on my own as when she mentioned that this is "bs" and that she lost 20 kg after the pregnancy without any supet diet and without eating "shit".

She might have some point in the sense that this is something very radical, and that there are other ways of loosing weight, but I find it sad not to have the support of the loved one in this kind of challenge.

Well.. will need some more strenght!

3rd Day - Feeling tired but happy

Today I've felt the diet.. I had a strange taste in the mouth for the all day..nothing too strong, but a bit unusual.

In the late afternoon I went for a 45 min run with Nike "Improve your endurance" program and the running was quite good.
As soon as back at home however I felt very tired and almost as I needed to throw up. I didn't enjoy the salad and the chicken soup and went to sleep almost immediately after.

Anyway. According to the lady at the shop the 1st 3 day are the most difficoult and now they are gone ! I have to say following this diet it's quite hard to go out with people for a party. So far I've preferred to avoid that and quitely stay at home..

This day was quite smooth.

All afternoon I was quite busy at work and didn't feel like having anything. I brough the salad and pizza from home and it was quite discrete to eat and actually nice.

1 Day = 1 Kg - The secret of a good start!

First day has been very good , no problem with being hungry and the taste of the prepared food is not too bad.
I have to figure out how to best approach eating this at work and better distribute within the day...today will have pizza (yeah..but not the real pizza..the PP, protein pizza) and a drink in late afternoon.

Yesterday "Il Maestro" died, it's a really sad news, he was one of the greatest and the world will miss him and his unique voice.

1st Day start with Omlette




Here we go..Thursday 6th September 2007. Wake up at 5:30 and had my first breakfast with the Ser Diet.

100 ml of water plus the powder and here is what I've got!

Next time I shall add some spices, but it was eatable and even if the taste was a bit artificial, it was not to far from the real thing.

I took as well my 4 morning pills..Omega 3 +Potassium + 1/4 of the one for thyroid.

I've taken some pics..so that I will be able to do a "before" and "after" . Not sure if I shall pubblish at this stage :-)

weight is 117,2 Think my scale is not so reliable though.

Starting THE diet tomorrow

Here we are !
After almost a year since the first serious thought of it..I'm finally ready to start the diet.
Will it work?
Will I lose fat or muscles? or hair ? or theets? or skin?
Will it change my mood ? Better or worse? Hope not worse...that would be quite hard to deal with for people around me !

A lot of questions in my head...seems the norm before a jump in the unknown, I actually like changes and like to seek answers to questions.
Is this diet healty?
Will I really lose 10 kg in one month?
Will I need to change all my wardrobe in 2 months?

At the moment the main question is ..Am I going to survive 1 full month without wine,beer,pizza,spaghetti... it's quite challenging,but if I don't try I'll never have the answers!
So..I need to try, as hard as I can and be able to follow the rules ...a lot of rules to be honest.

This space is for me to track progress and find some more motivation in sharing this challange.

Thanks for joining on the ride, will have some ups and some downs but will for sure have some good fun in between!
